Ellis Island is good and very reasonable.

During the day…..”In and Out Burger” Late at night in the casinos……Golden Nugget or the Horseshoe downtown. There are tons of deals if you look hard enough. I would go downtown and drink, gamble and eat for alot less than anywhere on the strip. The strip is not cheap.
stay away from the strip if your looking for something cheap…unless you like 99 cent shrimp cocktails..then you can get them at the very end of the strip…

the cafes or the buffets @ casinos are the only cheap places on the strip go a few miles west & you can find some reasonable restaurants!!
I like the 24 hour cafe in New York New York I think its called America and the one in the Aladdin. Both are real good and very cheap. And the portions are huge.
