I’m looking for plane tickets to Vegas from Chicago in June. Everything now is $300+. Is that typical? I flew there less than 3 years ago and it was only $99 each way. Would a travel agent be cheaper?

No matter what time of year you want to go, Las Vegas will always be lit up to welcome you. With gambling, casinos, lights and noise from all quarters, you’ll want to be ready to take on this town head on and you won’t run short of things to do and places to go while you are there either. Take M&Ms World for example. This is a good one to visit if you are in town with the whole family, as it will surely get the interest of the children. It has a 3D movie and plenty of merchandise to take home with you as well. It also has four floors to explore, so you can expect to spend a few hours here at least. Elsewhere in Vegas you will find the opportunity to be weightless. This is only for those with a large budget, since you will have to shell out four figures per person in dollars to go on the Zero G weightless experience. With that said though, if you can afford it you will get a once in a lifetime experience that will never be forgotten. You will never look at a Boeing 727 in the same way again either. If you like your rides and extreme experiences but you don’t have the money to experience the above, why not opt for the Insanity Ride near the Strip itself? You will need a strong stomach to withstand the 3Gs that you will experience during the ride, but if you love big rides they don’t come much bigger than this. It’s just a shame you won’t be in a position to take photos of the Strip as it whizzes past nearly a thousand feet below you. Supposing you are looking for something a little more sedate? Can Vegas give you that kind of attraction as well? Luckily it can, and in lots of different ways. Perhaps one of the best though is a view of the Bellagio Fountains. Not only is the display free to watch, it is also uses lights and water combined to make a stunning show that plays every quarter of an hour from 8pm right up until midnight. It might be hard to believe but there are more than 1000 fountains involved in the show, so you will want to see them more than once from different angles. Take your camera and film them if you can. No matter what you want to do in Las Vegas you won’t be short of entertainment or attractions to visit. The trick is deciding what to do first. Flights to Las Vegas will get you there in great time, and you can then spend your holiday exploring one of the most exciting places in America.
