Ever wonder if Steve Wynn really was on top of the building? This sneak peek inside the making of the Encore commercial will lay any doubt to rest. Watch as Steves ascent to the tip of the building moves from creative discussion to skillful execution. Exclusive behind the scenes footage of the making of the Encore Las Vegas Commercial. Directed by Brett Ratner and filmed 48-stories above Las Vegas Blvd., Steve Wynn introduces his new resort while sitting on top of the building.
That is awesome!
@freddycupples you have to admit Encore is a really classy hotel name
i got o the wynn pool every day..
is t he most amaizing place on vegas..!!
and ye..
s he got balls !!
After basically duplicating the WYNN by opening the ENCORE, why not just rename the whole thing WYNN-WYNN? This of course trades on the common and positive everyday business expression win-win. And it perfectly describes what they did.
I don’t know why this just occurred to me but it did. After basically duplicating the WYNN by opening the ENCORE, why not just rename the whole thing WYNN-WYNN? This of course trades on the common and positive everyday business expression win-win. And it perfectly describes what they did
wynn is a man!
I bet he had a safety harness on, but I still give him credit for doing it. Not bad for the guy who owns the whole place!
Steve was real, but the roof is a fake. It’s not like he’d go sliding down a slick glass surface. They probably have the hotel’s HVAC units up there, behind the facade. And Steve had a safety harness, to keep from being blown off the edge. They’re not telling you THAT, to make him appear more brave. Heck, I’d do it.
The helicopter is CGI.
i knew it, i keept seeing this commercial and thought, man this guy better be for real up there, ps the wynn poker room is awesome
I would have thought that was green screen as well!!
Pretty damn cool!!
Get slightly sweaty hands just by seeing it!
Wow I could have sworn it was green screen. Props to Steve for being able to do that, I would have passed out the second I sat down out of fear.
He’s got balls. And I have three free nights there.
Went to Encore opening night and got an inside tour of XS (not SX) nightclub, one of a kind! Will BLOW AWAY every other club in Vegas. Also a super sexy lounge called the Eastside Lounge over looking the pool, just down the hall from XS, easlily the nicest place in Las Vegas. Go see for yourself !
I went to the Encore last night. The most awesome place on the strip.went in SX night club just amazing. Also 2 nice bars just down the hall way a short distance.Every thing is so great
I saw it yesterday and it looks just like the Wynn except the chadelier is red…May I add that people were trap at the hotel to the parking garage because of a computer cliche that locked the gate access to the elevator and stair the night i was there.
Right now you can book a room for $159.99 during the week at Encore and $200 on weekend.
Why not create the old las Vegas Strip
87 was a weak economy yet the mirage started building. 93 was not as good either then he build the Treasure Island follow by the Bellagio. In one year you will have one more by wynn and two by MGM GRAND.
Damn!! Yeah, baby!! Opens tomorrow night!! Stay tuned for CITYCENTER!! Vegas is turning into a work of art!!
Because of the economic situation, if you stay there once, then they’ll let you stay for free the next time.
You can stay at Wynn for $179 a night and Encore for $189 a night.
i find something comical about Steve Wynn… i think this would make a great comedy, crasy, eccentric billionaire (he looks a little like Jim Carey’s famous ‘JUICE MAN’)
Yeah but still, Wynn is not exactly cheap. From what Ive heard, you are lucky if you can find a room for under $500/nt.
Now I heard that Stratosphere is $30/nt.
You have to remember it takes over 5 years for one of these hotels to come around from start to finish … so 5 years ago it was a good idea and right now i dont think you will see any new hotels started
