Is it cheaper to fly or drive to Vegas from Dallas?

   Go to SWA and get a price on the tickets, it will likely be about the same, unless you drive straight through, with no rooms along the way.

   In pure dollars, it’s cheaper to drive. But you have to add on food for the extra days, missed worked, convinence = flying is WAY cheaper.

   And from Dallas you can book Southwest now and get a great rate.

   Check the cost of flying then compare that to the cost of fuel for the 2200 miles approx round trip and one night each way on the road, plus extra food costs for the 2 days there and back. For a couple, will be nearly as cheap to just fly and get there in a couple of hours. If you are taking your family, may be cheaper to drive depending on the amount of tickets you’d have to buy— driving other than food would be about the same regardless of how many go.

   Driving is hours so if you ignore that fact, depends on the gas mile on your car. Overall driving is cheaper

   Flying is cheaper.

   When you drive, you will spend hundreds in gas roundtrip, food along the way, extra time wasted from work or pleasure, wear and tear on your car, ect ect.

   $167.27 one-way / $334.55 round trip
