Question about Las Vegas Hotels?
I аm рlаnnіng a trip tο Las Vegas аnd аm having a hard time deciding whеrе tο stay. Thе hotels thаt I аm debating οn аrе Excalibur, Harrah’s, TI, Nеw York Nеw York аnd Paris. Excalibur іѕ thе cheapest, bυt I hаνе bееn reading a lot οf bаd reviews аnd I heard thе check іn time аt TI іѕ horrendous. Nеw York Nеw York аnd Paris аrе οn thе high side fοr mу budget. Anу advice? Whаt аrе уουr experiences?
My personal favorite if the MGM Grand Hotel for many resons. Great customer service with short check in and and check out lines. It is located on middle ish of the strip so it’s perfect place to set up to hang out on the strip. Finally, there is a train (not really) transportation station in the hotel to make it easy to go anywhere you need on the strip (trust me I was excited about walking, but it gets old…. really quickly haha)
Check rates at MGM Grand and Monte Carlo also. I won’t stay at TI because of their high resort fee but will rather stay at the Mirage. Use Promo Codes when booking to save and get additional freebies. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/las-vegas-promo-codes.php
Excalibur really isn’t a bad place. It’s not my place of choice on the strip, but I recommend it to people looking for a decent hotel with great rates.
Of the others you’re considering, Harrah’s has a great location – the best of those you listed – and is kept up pretty well. It’s older, and you can tell, but it’s not a bad place at all. There is a lot to see and do in that area too.
TI is nice, but does have a hefty resort fee now. I don’t know about check-in trouble there. The rooms are nice, and it’s in a good location.
NYNY is my favorite hotel to hang out in – very fun place, in a pretty good location, with nice enough rooms. Same for Paris – nice place, nice location, nice rooms.
You may want to check the rates at Monte Carlo (good location, laid back, typically good rates, nice place) and MGM (good location, huge place with lots to do, nice rooms, moderate rates).
I was a fan of TI until they started with their ridiculous resort fees. I would echo what the others stated…check into MGM. They have decent rates and the rooms are nice. Check in is pretty smooth.
From your chosen hotels I would New York New York because of the great design. I would also consider to stay at MGM or Luxor, these hotels have good hotel promotions which will save money. On http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com you will find the latest promotion codes.
i would say hilton or mgm, both are good and i always use coupons to get my way through them
monte carlo offers rooms on special for 40.00 a night, i think you will like it.
