@Shhayxo Well actually there is a form of Hip Hop dancing and its still being displayed TODAY in the dance scene. Ppl should learn where dance especially HH comes from…Learn the movements and get the foundation. Hip Hop dance is social so it has nothing to do with whats being done in these studios, NOTHING!! So how can it evolve if there is no foundation being set in these dancers? They didn’t display that. But all in all I LOVED REQUEST. They could kill the Voguin & Waa if they studied more
@carlitito95 What’s not hip hop about it? There was popping, tutting, and voguing (which originated in Harlem!). Waacking and housing are also arguably hip hop.

The routine they performed last year where they won the varisty section maybe to your liking. Check it out if you havent already seen it. This year it looks as though they wanted to do something different and stand out. They sure did!

the official rules of HHI explains that there is no limited style or definition of hip hop, which there isnt, hip hop is evolutionary, its forever gonna change, everyone has a different perspective or way of expressing hip hop, you can not say that this isnt hip hop just because your perspectives are different.
