Las Vegas, and you should just take a lil road trip to LA! about an hour and half or so away.
Oregon. Vegas isn’t really a family place. I’m sure there’s more to do than go to casinos and strip clubs, but I’ve never heard of anyone vacationing there for other reasons. Plus, it’s really hot. Oregon has lots of great stuff – the coast, Sea Lion caves, OMSI (a science museum, good for all ages), an aquarium, the zoo, the Portland Art Museum, Tillamook cheese factory, whale-watching spots (depending on when you go), and a bunch of other stuff, especially in Portland.
Well Oregon isn’t a city. It’s a state. I’ve never been to Las Vegas but as I imagine, it’s probably not a place for kids. Its filled with casinos and strip clubs. Oregon is a really nice place. I’ve driven through the entire state.Theres this little town called Seaside at the mouth of the Columbia River and it is really nice there. Oregon also has Cannnon Beach which is suppose to be really nice. I’ve never been to it though. In southwestern Oregon you can find Redwood forest which are amazing and Mount Hood is at the northcentral part of Oregon and the mountain is just marvelous. Oh last but not least, theres Crater Lake which I’ve never been to but always wanted to go to. I’ve heard so many good things about it. I hope that answers your question.
if i were you i would take a trip to oregon crater lake, sea lion caves and it is located 11 miles North of Florence on the Oregon Coast. going to the the beach in florence. i would have to choose oregon have fun! P.S. No sales Tax
vegas is disneyland on drugs, booze, prostitution and gambling, it gets really shallow and annoying after just a few days
some of the bigger hotels have attractions for kids.
oregon looks amazing, great nature, but i dont know what there is to do for kids
Well I live in Oregon. It is a good place if you wanna have some outdoorsy fun. Great place for swimming in lakes and rivers. The sun is out BTW,
I would recommend the Great Wolf Lodge: Check it out great place for a FAMILY trip. The rooms are great, there’s a water park and a bunch of other stuff.
In my opinion, Vegas is more suited to adults looking to gamble and drink than it is “funner FAMILY vacation”. Oregon, on the other hand has a beautiful seacoast, some excellent state parks, and fun things to do — like windsurfing on the river.
Oregon is lower key and a whole lot less overhyped, but therein lies its attraction for the traveler who wants to focus on FAMILY.
Have fun!
