I’m thinking about going to Las Vegas solo; my friend’s are bums who cannot save any money. How many have gone to Vegas alone and had a good time? Is it easy to make random friends and have a good time if your an outgoing person?
If so, which places would you reccomend?

the boyfriend and i are going to Vegas for new years from Austin (maybe we can do from Houston too) and everywhere we’ve looked so far is $300 and up. We might drive if we can’t find anything else.
We already have a place to stay as well.

not orbitz or expedia. I am planning on going june 30th-july 6th, I know thats over independence day, but its for our honeymoon.

My family is flying in from Korea for our wedding in Los Angeles, and I wanted to send them to Las Vegas for an overnight trip after the wedding. I’m looking to book on the 17th of October till the 18th and there are 8 people in the group.

After looking at a lot of hotel rooms, I figured that a condo rental might be a better idea. Koreans are notoriously ethnocentric, especially with food, so it’d be nice if they could have their own kitchen to prepare their meals and a more laid back environment than a hotel on the strip.

Can anyone recommend any good rental companies that would be able to accomodate a party of 6-8 people? The location would be preferrably close to the Strip and with 2-3 bedrooms. Thanks for your help!

Las Vegas Hotels

I’m looking for a room at an upscale hotel on the strip (Bellagio, Venetian, Encore, Caesar’s, etc.) in October and I’m a poker player. I plan on playing a lot of poker and I know there are deals if you commit to a certain number of hours per day of play.

Can anyone recommend the best deal for one of the hotels mentioned above and include the specifics (price per night and hours of play)?

Orbitz is the cheapest I have found. If anyone knows of anything better then let me know.
at least for me orbitz seems to get me the best deal. I tried all the one’s everyone listed but the prices were too high. I’m traveling from Joplin, MO to Las Vegas, NV departing Jan 2, 2007 and returning Jan 6, 2007. I found the lowest package price for Circus Circus for $505.00 I know at one point it was lower than that but it’s went up here lately. If anyone knows of anything better let me know…thanks a bunch for ur comments.
