My husband and I are taking our teenage daughters to Las Vegas this summer. I appreciate any tips anybody has. My husband has been there twice and I have been there once but we have never taken our kids on a plane, let alone Las Vegas. Are there any meal discounts I can get ahead of time?

I am planning a trip to Vegas with some friends and wondering about the extra person fees hotels charge. All of the 4 and 5-star hotels I have been looking into charge an extra person fee of $30 or more. Have you ever booked a room for 2 people and had extra people staying in the room? If so, which 4 or 5-star hotel was it? And what preventive measures did you take?

I’m assuming the busier hotels won’t be watching you come and go or counting towels. Please share your experiences and opinions whether good or bad…

My hubby and I want to go to Vegas this summer. Probably the 3rd week of August. I have found a few sites that offer $99 and $189 vacation packages. One of them was leisure time. http://www.leisuretime.com/las-vegas/packages.aspx
They offer the $99 Sahara pkg. looks pretty reasonable to me, but don’t know if it’s legit or not. If anyone has dealt with these folks or any others that have packages like this, I would love to hear your experience. Thanks!
