Experience Las Vegas: a travel guide

Last time I was in Vegas, the first thing I did for about an hour was relax and watch this TV show in the hotel room that was basically an ‘insider’ type show, giving you a tour of what to do and see in Vegas. Very cool channel. I think it may have been called “the 6″ or something along those lines.

Does anyone remember what the channel is called? I’m sure it’s broadcast in all Vegas Hotel’s channel lineups. I tried googling it, but haven’t gotten any results.

Las Vegas Hotel Deals : a Guide

i
Las Vegas attracts lots of tourists all year round. People come here for refreshing breaks and like to enjoy life to the fullest. The city offers many gambling opportunities and more than lives up to its nickname “The Entertainment Capital of the World”. Leaving aside the lavish casinos there are many other enjoyable things to do in Las Vegas including shopping, sunshine, night clubs, and shows. Hotels in Las Vegas do everything they can to attract tourists to the city. From time to time hotels in Las Vegas offer special deals for visitors which can be used by people from almost all income groups. Hotels offer a variety of rooms from enormous luxury suites to smaller comfortable rooms. Shop around and you are sure to find something to suite your needs. Many of the larger resorts have built huge pools where families can relax or swim. Las Vegas is meant for tourists from each and every age group and the city is built to provide something everybody, old or young, and even kids can enjoy. Millions and millions of dollars are spent annually on attractions like shows, pools, and amusement parks to keep everybody constantly entertained. Whether you are planning a complete week vacation or a quick weekend get-away, one thing that everybody needs in Las Vegas is money to gamble with. A great way to allow you more gambling money is to get the best deal possible when booking your room. Casinos are always providing different deals to entice tourists to stay at their hotels. Be sure to shop around and check for the latest promotions being offered by different hotels

Booking your hotel room and flights together, can sometimes save you money. Finding promotion codes and looking for hotel specials can also save money over the standard room rates. There are certain other methods which can help to save money like The Junkets – Junkets are sponsored trips by hotels and casinos to attract gamblers directly to their hotel. They usually include traveling fare, and accommodations. If you have a large gambling budget and plan on gambling a lot ask about junkets. Charter Packages – In this flight charges along with negotiated hotel fares for packages are sometimes included at a cheaper rate than the normal fare. Off-Season Pricing – Visits in the months of January, which can be cold, and August, which is steamy hot, usually provide the lowest room rates; although most months will usually have a slow week where there are no conventions in town and rates will be lower. Also visits in the middle of the week are cheaper as compared to weekends.

If you and your sweetheart are madly in love but don’t want to go through all of the legalities of getting officially married, or might be one of those couples who just don’t need that little piece of paper, a Commitment Ceremony might be right up your alley. And you can choose a ‘theme’ for your ritual too. How about a ceremony right out of the days of Camelot? That could be very romantic. Or for a funkier twist, choose an Austin Powers 60s package. These commitment ceremony packages include all the bells and whistles of a regular wedding (except for the minister and the license) including flowers, photography and a super-stretch limo.

One place that specializes in this type of arrangement is the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. As a matter of fact, they have a huge selection of ceremony themes to choose from. And this chapel is not just for Commitment Services. You can also renew your vows here or have an actual wedding. Take a look at these creative options as there is absolutely something for everybody who is looking for a ceremony that will stand out from all the others.
