This is not how I envisioned “change we can count on”. We need “real” help. How is an ear mark for an $8 billion dollar rail way between California and Las Vegas going to help those of us who are financially struggling right now?

Sounds like this Stimulus package will do nothing more than create a hole so deep that our children and our children’s children will be saddled with trying to crawl out of it.

RK: Please read Bishop’s response. Those ear marks are real….and they are exactly that: ear marks and pork spending. And by the way, wasn’t every bill passed during the Obama administration supposed to be transparent? No transparency here….Pelosi made sure that no one would be able to fully understand the repercussions of this bill. After reading Bishop’s response, how can you tell me that this bill has no ear marks and that it will jump start our economy? And what happened to to our President who said that he wouldn’t use fear to rule the country? I’m more fearful now about the future of our country than I’ve ever been.
