Which Vegas Strip hotels have the cleanest rooms, most comfortable beds for cheap?

I’m staying for just one night in Vegas on a lay over. I would like a hotel that is close to the airport, but also on the strip. I hate hotels that have funky smells and uncomfortable beds, so I am looking for a clean fresh smelling room with a comfortable bed. I would like the cheapest room possible with these qualities. Thanks for your help!

Is there a book that lists restaurants on the Las Vegas strip and the old strip?

I’m looking for a book that lists all the eateries on the vegas strip as well as the old strip. I don’t want to rely on the internet when I get there. I’d like a book handy that I can flip through while on the new and old strips. Thanks.

Im going to Las Vegas with a couple friends who have never been to Vegas. Unfortunately all the major strip hotels are booked or crazy priced. Does anyone know of any cheap hotels off the strip, within close walking distance. Somewhere between excalibur and treasure island. We wont be in the hotel besides to pass out drunk so dont need anything nice or expensive. Just lookn for somethn where we can walk the strip and then back to the hotel. Get it?

Las Vegas can expect a new addition on the Las Vegas Strip. The AP reports that The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel-casino indicated that it has at least $890 million to support its plans to get its resort up and running this year. Owned by Deutsche Bank, the resort stated in a regulatory filing on Monday that it plans to allocate approximately “$625 million on construction and $265 million on furniture, fixtures and other equipment.” The hotel is expected to open the majority of rooms by December 15. The plan calls for close to 3000 rooms. The AP reports that hotel officials say “the resort lost nearly $3 million during the second quarter.” The Cosmopolitan reported having $19.2 million in cash.
