I have been a few times. if you are not gambling much hotels range from $75-$300+
Flight- around $300
dinners-$10-$30
shows-$50-$100 if you go to the good ones
There is no real answer to this question. It all depends on your tastes and budget.
I have been to Vegas many times. I have had trips where it seems I spend almost nothing, and trips where I may spend 5,000. Fun can be had on any budget in vegas, because there are so many deals everywhere you look. You can practically eat and drink for free in Vegas if you are savy about it.
But if I had to really try to budget a typical vegas trip. Figure 100-150/night for a medium hotel, 300$ for air, 100$ day for food/drink/entertainment. After that its all up to you.
A lot depends on where you want to stay, how many shows you intend to go to, how long you intend to stay and if you intend to gamble. Transportation would also have to be included in your budget.
You can go to an on line company for flight/hotel deals and probably find a fairly good package. Some may even provide your transportation to and from the airport. I would count on $200. to $250.per person per day in spending money. A long weekend would probably be a minimum of $2000.
Hotels are going cheap now. You can get into the MGM Grand and comparables for $59/nt. Meals – there is no longer such a thing as a cheap meal in Las Vegas unless you get fast food or something like Denny’s. Flight – depends on where you are flying from. Most major cities will run around $300-$400.
I would say, without gambling, that you should plan on spending $1000 to $1500 for a 3 day stay.
Cost is subjective, plan a budget and stick to it.
When my wife and I go, usually a four day trip I budget $2500 total, many times I am coming back with $500 or more.
When making your budget I sugest the following:
The obvious is Flight and hotel if you are very limited in funds try priceline for your hotel and bid on a room, right now hotels are offering great deals, there are several four star hotels that are just uder $650 for the week depending on the week (7 nights).
Flights are on average $250 per person depending on were you are flying from, for us it has been about $215 currently.
Some other things to budget for:
Taxi or shuttle from airport to hotel and back $40 total
transportation while you are there $40 unless you rent a car. or take a taxi figure $15 everytime you are in a taxi. Consider the duece (bus) $5 for 24 hours.
Food budget $25 per meal unless you eat at all the fast food places and with the size of the meals you may only need to eat once or twice per day so $50 per day should work for you (per person). We have had days were we spent less than $25 for both of us.
Plan on other activities such as clubing, shows, spas and any other events you may want to try.
Here is how I would break down our budget when in vegas.
Hotel and flight $800 (3 Nights)
spa for two $280
Transportation $80
Shows $300 maybe more than one
Food $400 (four days)
misc items $140
Gaming $500 (thats for me my wife does not gamble)
We also don’t go clubbing, but I understand that the cover charges are on average of $25 and drinks are $10 and higher.
We have also gone to vegas on a lower budget than this and still had a great time.
Check out http://www.vegas.com and look at the attractions; they list several things to see and do some are for free, just bring your camera.
There’s no set answer to this, except this – take only as much as you can afford to kiss goodbye.
Accommodations are fairly cheap right now – sign up for email alerts at any hotel that interests you – right now I get offers for MGM Grand for $59 a night, NYNY for $29 a night during the week, etc. Flights are a different story – shop around for the best deal – try one of the lower cost airlines like Allegiant or SouthWest. I also recommend http://www.sidestep.com for pricing flights. If you want a package deal with hotel and air, then I’d check out http://www.vegas.com – it’s thru USAir & often has really good deals.
As far as spending money goes, figure out what sights/attractions you want to do, and add some more cash to it for other things that might catch your eye. I’ve done Vegas on $100 a day spending money and zero dollars a day – I had more fun on the $100, obviously, but it’s all up to you.
1,500.00
good hotel maybe 300 dollars a night flight depends where you come from

It is my rule to pay for the hotel, transportation, then I take one days pay for every day there.
