What is the best and cheap way to visit Grand canyon. What cheap tours are offered. I’ll be driving from vegas
I’ll bе driving frοm vegas tο grand canyon. I wουld lіkе tο know whаt іѕ thе best аnd cheap tours fοr grand canyon. Please give mе advice mе. Itѕ a one day trip.
If you can drive from Vegas, you’re already set. The Grand Canyon National Park South Rim is open all year round, 24/7 and it’s $25/car. This fee is good for both the north and south rim for seven days. The Grand Canyon Village has a free shuttle bus that takes you along the rim and drops you off and picks you up at various scenic spots. The visitor center has some great information. It’s about a 5 hour drive from LV, so leave early. We did it last summer, stopped for a short time at Hoover Dam, and took the slightly longer way to drive down Route 66. We did the whole thing in one very long day.
I’ve also gone on guided tours to the North Rim, and the Hualapai Indian Reservation, but, although fun, that was really pricey! It was a few years ago, and it still cost almost $300 per person. Lunch was included, but still….
Here is a link for some tours/activities for mule/horse/raft/helicopter trips: (I’m not so computer savvy, so you’ll have to copy and paste to get it to work.)

The cheapest way is to drive (by far)
You would pay for about 1-1.5 tanks of gas, plus an entrance fee.
Any guided tour, or flights from to Vegas to GC are going to be pushing 100/pp.
Once you get there you may just want to look on your own. You can walk down the Canyon for free, but you don’t have time enough if you want to leave early to return to Vegas. There are burro rides you can sign up for.
Here is what we did. We booked a room at a hotel near the Park entrance. We ate a huge breakfast (the Paris Hotel buffet) because there is no place to eat along the long 5.5 to 6 hour ride. We got to the hotel and checked in (gassed up at a local station). We got up before dawn and drove into the park (free before it officially opens!) and watched the sun rise which is breath taking over the canyon. We drove around all day stopping and looking all we wanted for as long as we wanted. There are a few gift shops and a lookout tower.
On the drive back to Vegas we stopped and toured the Hoover Dam. Again, at our leisure.
